EcoSmart and AIR-Technology in handshowers and overhead showers

Hansgrohe’s handshowers and overhead showers provide the full, drenching coverage of a conventional high-end product, but at a water-saving flow rate of only 6 l/min. These eco-friendly showers feature Hansgrohe’s award-winning and innovative EcoSmart technology for enhanced “water saving” performance. A wide range of water-saving products are available. With average 10-minute showers, AirPower products could save a family of three over 30,000 liters of water per year. Plus, we offer a variety of styles (E for Elegance, S for Style, and C for Classic), and several finishes.

Electronic & Metered Mixers: 40% - 77% Water Savings

Hansgrohe has a selection of electronic mixers ranging in styles and finishes to meet the growing commercial and residential demands for this type of product. Extremely eco-friendly and reliable, electronic mixers consume only 5.5 l/min. In addition to being “low flow” mixers, the “green” benefit of an electronic/metered mixer is that it automatically shuts itself off to further prevent wasting valuable water. Plus, with Hansgrohe’s leading competence in creating design-oriented products, the company’s electronic mixers are also stylish and feature sapphire glass over the sensors to ensure a lifetime of reliable performance.

Raindance AIR Body Shower: 50% Water Savings

Adding a touch of luxury to a green shower is possible with Raindance AIR body showers. The body shower features AIRPower technology, which provides excellent volume (feel of 7.5 l/min | 2 GPM) while only using 4.5 l/min | 1.2 GPM. Compared to the average 7.5 l/min to 9.4 l/min | 2-2.5 GPM of most body showers, your water savings are 50% or more. Plus, its functionality makes it even more appealing. Unlike most body showers that operate on a rotating ball-joint, this body shower is flush mounted to the wall (1 cm thickness) and features a rotating spray face with slanted spray channels. All a user needs to do is rotate the spray face to change the direction of the water.

Mixer Aerators: 50% - 60% Water-Savings

Hansgrohe’s low-flow aerators ensure constant water use at 7.2 l/min. The low-flow aerator is available on all standard Hansgrohe bathroom mixers. The low-flow aerator is a standard feature in all Hansgrohe bathroom mixers. In addition, Hansgrohe offers optional low-flow aerators that can be installed on any Hansgrohe mixer. These aerators reduce the standard flow of 15 l/min to 7.2 l/min. Installing the new aerator enables you to save 50% to 60%.

PONTOS: Recycling Grey Water for Double Use

Compact water recycling systems are now available for commercial or residential applications with Hansgrohe’s Pontos AquaCycle*. The product range includes systems with a reprocessing capacity of between 900 to 12,500 liters of water per day, giving AquaCycle systems the adaptability to work in projects ranging from apartment complexes to hotels. The roughly cabinet-sized basic model cleans domestic shower and bath water naturally using an organic, non-threatening biological technique. The hygienically clean water, or gray water, can then be used to do the laundry, water the garden, clean the house and flush the toilet.
