Technical remarks on our website

Optimum screen resolution

We've optimized our site for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels in order to allow the largest possible number of users to view our web pages without any problems.

HTML pages

To ensure the pages are displayed as quickly as possible, the entire website was created using only HTML (version: XHTML 1.0).

Browser and settings

We've optimized our website for Internet Explorer Version 7 and up. To make the most of our website features, you should configure two settings in your browser. You should activate: JavaScript and cookies.

Activating JavaScript
In Internet Explorer, go to: Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom/Custom level and enable Active scripting.

Plugins

Several plugins give you access to all the functionality of our website. You can download them for free on the internet. Here is a list of links to the plugins.

ActiveX

ActiveX allows many different elements to be incorporated into websites. Sound effects, videos, animations, news tickers, etc. can be integrated using ActiveX to make websites more colourful, varied and visually interesting. You should make sure you have activated ActiveX.

In Internet Explorer, go to: Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom/Custom level, and enable ActiveX controls.

For product information, go to Products or Brands in the main menu or use the links in the area "Products for" on the homepage.

Full text search

A convenient full text search helps you find information quickly on our website. Simply use the "toolbox", which is always located on the left-hand side below the navigation bar.

The full text search lets you search the entire website for the keywords you enter in the search box. If you click a search result, you will be taken to that page immediately.

Searching with operators

Operators allow you to link two or more keywords. You can use the following operators:

Quotes (") for grouping terms together such as "Axor Citterio"‚ "Single lever mixer"
+ (AND) and – (NOT) for logical operations such as "Axor Citterio" – "Single lever mixer". This search will return all hits for „Axor Citterio" that do not include the term „Single lever mixer".
If you enter several terms without any operators, the system will perform an OR search, as in bathroom mixer.
The search engine automatically adds a wildcard to the end of the keyword. For example, if you enter the keyword „shower", the search engine will return hits for „showerhead", but not for „handshower".
That means that you don't need to manually add a wildcard (*) to the search term.
If you do, you will get the same results as if you hadn't added the wildcard. In other words, it makes no difference whether you write „shower" or „shower*".

Synonyms

One of the search engine's most useful features: It doesn't just search for the keyword you entered; it also searches for words with similar definitions. For example, if you enter "faucet", you'll also get results for the related term "mixer", along with the question, "Did you mean Mixer?"

Toolbox

The toolbox, which is always located in the left-hand side of the page below the navigation bar, provides quick access to many powerful functions. You can use the full text search, pull up a list of Hansgrohe's international websites, download catalogues and videos and print out your current page.

Download

You can easily download useful information to your computer!
Either download individual files immediately, or add them to a download list for batch downloading later on.

Click the link to download an individual file.

Download list

Click the download symbol to add the file to your personal download list. In the toolbox, Downloads will open and the My Downloads list will be updated. You can also access the list from the toolbox at any time.

If cookies are activated, the download list will still contain all your downloads the next time you visit our site.

You can download the files in a single ZIP file. The estimated download time is shown in the list.

Use the recycle bin to delete individual downloads that you no longer need. To delete the entire list, click "Delete All".
