Hansgrohe AG, with its headquarters in Schiltach/Black Forest, is continuing to push ahead with its programme of internationalisation in the current year. Following the creation of its sales and distribution company in South Africa at the beginning of the year, the “Global Player from the Black Forest” has achieved lift-off in Australia with a legally autonomous subsidiary. The number of subsidiaries of the fittings and shower specialist from Schiltach has now reached 30 with the incorporation of Hansgrohe Pty Ltd in Melbourne. Siegfried Gänßlen, CEO of Hansgrohe AG, comments: “Above all, given the current economic situation we see the international expansion of our market development as strategic investment, which will help us generate additional growth potential.” For this reason the company will maintain its policy of expansion and further extend its presence in south-eastern Europe, Latin America and the Far East.
